Osmium - in Quantum Computing
We are often asked in which areas, besides luxury products, osmium is used today. But we're not so much interested in "today," but rather in "tomorrow"!
Ideal physically optimized base models in quantum computing enable or promote the combination of quantum neural networks, hybrid quantum-classical algorithms, and quantum-inspired data compression methods. For the latter, in particular, there is virtually no way around the precious metal osmium, as it is the densest element on Earth.
The key is to integrate quantum computing into more accurate climate models - here too, osmium scores points, as it is particularly resistant and, as a high-temperature superconductor, enables further development under extreme conditions.

Since osmium can generally only be mined in very small quantities (barely 100 kg per year!), it can be worthwhile to set aside at least a few grams for quantum applications. Crystallization, as required for jewelry, is not necessary; for this reason, we also offer professional investors in high-purity osmium as HighTechReady Osmium (HTR Osmium). This complex, high-purity purification process makes the element usable. Please contact us for more information.
