LEGO wooden toys represent the origins of the LEGO Group and offer a direct link to the history of the company and its founder, Ole Kirk Christiansen, a trained carpenter. Wooden toys were part of the product line from 1932 until around 1960, most recently under the name Hanse Denmark.
